Unique Clinic

Down in Magalwar Peth, we run this little clinic. It’s a pretty old part of town, so the streets are narrow and there’s always something happening right outside the door. We aren’t a giant hospital with hundreds of beds, just a local clinic where people from the peth come when they aren’t feeling well. We see a lot of the same faces every week. Someone might stop by for a blood pressure check or just to ask a quick question about a medicine they are taking. We try to keep the doors open for anyone who needs to walk in. The building has been here for ages and so have we. It’s a simple setup with a waiting area and a couple of rooms for consultations. We don’t have much in the way of fancy decorations or high-tech screens. Most of what we do is just talking to patients and figuring out what’s wrong. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. It’s a very grounded, local experience. We don’t put on any acts. People come here because they know us and they know we will listen to them. It’s just a normal clinic for normal people.
