Satara is a great place to live and work, though it can get quite hot in the summer months. Most of the staff comes from Vitthalwadi or the neighboring villages, so we all know each other well. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or any promotional posters. We just show up every morning and see what needs to be moved. We like the fact that we can see the hills and the farms while we are working. It makes the day feel a bit shorter.
