We have been set up here at 14 - D - 1 in the Midc area for quite a long time now. Most days it is just the sound of machines and people talking over the noise. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the work. Being in an industrial zone like this means there is always something happening outside, like trucks moving in and out or neighbors fixing their own equipment. We started out with just a few machines and a couple of guys who knew what they were doing. Now the floor is a bit more crowded, but we know where everything is kept. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just take a break and sit outside until things start up again. It is not a fancy place, just a workspace where we handle engineering jobs that come our way. People around here know us as the place near the corner. We don't really do much advertising because most folks just stop by or call when they need something made or fixed. It's a steady life. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk in the small office, but we usually clear it by the end of the week. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, with new shops opening up and old ones closing down, but we are still here at the same spot.
