Surajya Global Foundation

Surajya Global Foundation is actually based out in Satara, not Pune like some of the other groups. We are located at plot number 58 in Deshmukh Colony, in the Camp area. It’s a fairly quiet residential neighborhood with some nice trees. We’ve been operating from here for a while now. The office is just a simple building that we use to run our foundation’s activities. Satara has a different pace compared to the big cities, and we like that. It allows us to focus on the work without too many distractions or traffic noise. We don’t have any fancy signage or high-tech gear. It’s mostly just desks, wooden chairs, and some metal filing cabinets. We spend our days talking to people from the community and organizing our projects. Being in Deshmukh Colony makes us feel like part of the local area. We aren't some distant organization. We’re right here on the ground. Most of our work is very practical and hands-on. We don't use big words or have complicated goals. We just take things one day at a time and see what needs fixing. The team is small, and we all know each other well. Sometimes neighbors drop by for a quick chat, and we usually have some tea ready. We just keep things moving and try to be as helpful as we can in the Satara region. It’s just an honest way to work for us.
