Sree Hospital

Sree Hospital is right in the middle of things over at Old Sarda Wada, near the Main Market. Being so close to the market means there is always a lot of energy and noise around the building. You can hear the vendors and the shoppers all day long. The hospital itself has been in Old Sarda Wada for a long time, and the building has a lot of character. It’s not one of those new, glass-walled buildings you see in the fancy parts of the city. It’s a solid, older place that has served the community for years. Inside, we have our different departments, but everything is pretty close together. We don’t have a lot of extra space, so we have to stay very organized. The floors are made of old stone, and they stay cool underfoot. Most of our day is spent seeing people who are just passing through the market or who live in the nearby houses. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. The people who work here are also the ones who manage the day-to-day things. We do our own filing and handle the phones ourselves. It’s a bit of a hectic life, especially on market days when the crowds are huge, but we are used to it. We just focus on the people who come in and try to help them as best as we can.
