If you’re looking for us, we’re over at Shiva-Chaya Niwas. It’s on the main Lonand-Satara Road, which is pretty convenient for getting things moved around. Manoj S. Joshi and the rest of us share this space, and it’s been our base for Sona Alloys Pvt Ltd for a long time. The building belongs to J.B. Kshirsagar, and it has that old-school feel to it. Working in the Khandala taluka means we’re a bit away from the main city buzz, but we prefer it that way. The air is a bit clearer, even if the road is always busy with trucks. Inside the office, things are usually a bit cluttered with samples and folders. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. We’re more concerned with making sure the alloy orders are moving out on time. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It’s a simple life here in Satara district. We know the neighbors and the local shops. Most of the guys here have been with us for years, so we don’t need to explain much to each other anymore. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head home. It’s not a complicated setup, but it works for what we need. We handle everything right here from Shiva-Chaya Niwas without making a big fuss about the whole process.
