Shivam Hospital

Finding us is pretty straightforward because we are right on the Kolhapur Pune Highway at Plot No 17. Being on such a major road means there is always the sound of trucks and cars zooming past. Shivam Hospital sits there watching the traffic go by all day and night. It gets quite dusty being so close to the highway, so we are always wiping down the front counters and the benches. The plot itself is a decent size, and we have enough room for people to pull their vehicles off the main road safely without blocking anyone. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but for anyone traveling between Kolhapur and Pune, we are a familiar sight on the side of the road. The building is functional and doesn't have any unnecessary decorations. We have the usual rooms and a waiting area that sees a lot of different people from all over. The air can be a bit heavy with exhaust sometimes, but we have some plants inside to make it feel a bit more natural. It’s a practical location for a hospital. We don’t have a big fancy entrance, just a door that stays open for most of the day. Working here means getting used to the rhythm of the highway. It never really stays quiet, but you get used to the background noise after a while. It’s just how life is out here on Plot 17.
