You can find us at Gajanan Plaza, right there in the Godoli area. We occupy a few plots, specifically numbers 5, 6, 23, and 24. It is a busy corner of Satara and there is always something going on outside. The sound of the machinery at Satara Flour Mills Private Limited is basically the background noise to our whole lives. We deal with a lot of grain coming in from the local area and flour going out to the shops. The fine white dust gets on everything, no matter how much we sweep the floors at night. It is a very practical, hands-on business. People need their flour for their daily meals, and we help get it ready for them. The office at S.No.19A-20A is where we handle all the paperwork, which usually piles up much faster than we would like it to. We have been in this spot long enough that the local farmers know exactly where to pull up their trucks. It is not glamorous work, mostly involving heavy lifting and making sure the mills do not get too hot. Sometimes a belt breaks and we have to stop everything to fix it on the fly. It gets very hot in the summer months, but we keep the big fans going. We just try to stay honest with our work. It is a lot of physical labor and long hours during the busy seasons.
