Our place is in Vidani, which is a small village in the Phaltan Taluka of Satara district. If you’re looking for us, we are right there in the main village area, pin code 415523. We deal with stone supplies and materials. It’s a very hands-on kind of business, so our office is more of a practical base than a place for fancy meetings. We spend a lot of time outside or dealing with the trucks that come and go. The ground around here can get a bit dusty because of the nature of the work, but that’s expected in the stone supply trade. Vidani is a quiet spot, mostly farmland and open spaces, so we have plenty of room to operate. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and the locals all know where the Sangam Stone yard is. Our office is just a simple building with a tin roof in some parts and a couple of desks inside for the accounts. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the business well. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the stone and making sure the deliveries are on schedule for the construction sites. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from early morning until the sun goes down. The weather in Satara can be quite dry, but we have a small shaded area where we sit and have our lunch.
