Down in Satara, at 310 1/C Patkhal, you’ll find our office for Sahyadri Ayurvedic Life Pvt Ltd. It’s a quiet area compared to the big cities. The air feels a bit different out here, maybe a little fresher because of the trees and the open space. We spend our days handling various herbal products and keeping track of our stock. The building isn't anything new or modern, just a practical space that serves its purpose. We have a few rooms filled with boxes and shelves. Sometimes the local dogs wander near the entrance looking for shade. We don't really have a fancy reception desk, just a wooden table where we keep the ledger and the phone. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages, so we all know each other pretty well. During the harvest season, things get a lot busier around here. We usually share snacks during the mid-morning break and talk about the weather or the local news in Satara district. It can get quite dusty during the dry months, so there’s always someone wiping down the counters. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we just focus on the daily tasks at hand. It’s a steady pace of work. When the sun starts to set over the hills, we lock up the gates and head back home. It's a simple, honest way to spend the day for all of us.
