Rustic Art

Rustic Art is located at No. 251 on Palace Street in Bhawani Peth. It’s an old part of the city, and our shop fits right in with the surroundings. We don't have a big glass storefront or neon signs. It’s just a regular door that leads into our workspace and shop area. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent working with our hands. We make things, we pack things, and we talk to the people who wander in off Palace Street. The space is often a bit cluttered with materials and finished items, but we know where everything is. It’s not a polished gallery. It’s a working shop. We have a few people who help out with the making and the selling. We don’t do much advertising. People usually hear about us from their friends or just see the name when they’re passing through Bhawani Peth. It’s a small operation. We drink a lot of tea and stay busy with our orders. Sometimes the street gets very crowded, but we like the bustle of the local market nearby. We just try to make good stuff and keep the shop running. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We aren't trying to grow into a huge company. We just want to keep doing our work here at number 251. It’s been our home for a long time. The wooden floors creak when you walk on them, but they’ve seen a lot of history over the years.
