We have been operating out of Karad for a good while now. It’s a busy town, especially with all the transit through the highway, but we stay tucked away in our own space. The weather here can be quite something, especially in the middle of May when the sun is really beating down on the rooftops and the asphalt. Our day starts early, usually before the heat gets too intense, so we can get through the main tasks before the afternoon slump. The office is where we keep all the records for the local jobs we've got going on. It’s mostly just us, a few computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't really do the whole fancy office thing with glass walls and leather chairs. It’s more about having a solid roof over our heads and a place to sit and figure out the logistics of the next build. People from around the area drop by sometimes to ask about work or just to chat about what’s being built down the road. We try to keep things straightforward and honest because that's how people are here. Karad is a place where your word still matters, so we keep that in mind every time we talk to a client. It gets a bit noisy when the heavy trucks go past on their way to the highway, but that’s just part of being in a growing town. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
