Down at Sanyoj 6/A in Mangalwar Peth, our team is usually busy with something or other. This is our base for Rmc Readymix India Pvt.Ltd. here in Satara, pin code 415002. It is a local operation through and through. The building is just a regular spot on the street, nothing that stands out too much. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the yard checking the trucks. The air in Satara can be nice, but the work is still dirty and heavy. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk like normal people do. If there’s a problem with a load, we fix it. If a truck is late, we let the person know. It is a straightforward way of doing things. Our office in Mangalwar Peth is where we keep all the records and grab a tea during breaks. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’re still here at 6/A doing the same work. It’s about getting the concrete ready and making sure it gets to the construction sites nearby. We don’t use any corporate jargon. It’s just about being there and getting through the daily list of tasks that come our way in this part of Maharashtra. We don't really have many visitors here except for drivers and suppliers. The machinery can be a bit temperamental when it's humid, but we manage to keep it running. Lunch is usually just something quick brought from home.
