Our office is situated at 51, Deshmukh Colony, which is right in the Sadar Bazar area. This is one of the older parts of the city, so the buildings and the streets have a very lived-in feel to them. We run Phoenix Import and Exports from this location. The office consists of a few rooms where we keep all our records and manage the daily business tasks. It is usually quite peaceful inside, especially when you compare it to the loud noise of the bazaar just a short walk away. We have been in this colony for many years now and we know most of our neighbors quite well. The walls inside could probably use a bit of new paint, but we always seem too busy with paperwork to get around to it. We handle various imports and exports without making much of a fuss. It is mostly about checking lists, making phone calls, and keeping an eye on the logistics. On the hotter days, we keep the ceiling fans on the highest setting, and someone usually brings in some snacks from the market nearby. There is a lot of local history in this neighborhood, and you can really feel it when you walk around. We are not a large corporation; it is just a small group of us doing our jobs every day. We don't have any mission statements on the wall. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families when the day is finished.
