Nr Sheth & Co.

Our shop is number 17 in the Market Yard area. It’s right nearby, pretty much opposite the bus stand, so we hear the horns and the engines all day long. Nr Sheth & Co. has been in this district for a long time. The Market Yard is a busy place to be, with people coming and going from all the nearby villages. Being so close to the bus stand means we get a lot of people passing by our door. The shop itself isn't very large, so we have to be clever about how we stack things. It can get a bit cramped when there are more than three people inside. We open up early, usually before the first big buses start rolling in. The floor is concrete and it’s seen better days, but it’s sturdy. We don't have a big fancy staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you ask for something, we can usually find it under a pile of other things in a minute or two. We deal with all sorts of people every day, from farmers to city folks. It’s a lot of hard work, and the dust from the yard gets into everything, but we don't mind it much. It is just the way life is at the Market Yard. We just focus on getting through the day's tasks and making sure the shop is ready for the next morning. It's a simple life.
