We are based in Guruwar Peth, which is in the Satara area. The place is near Kamani House. It is a local spot and many people around here know the neighborhood well. Our office is part of a building near the post office in Satara. It is a pretty quiet street most of the time. We set this up to help kids from the local schools around Jawali. We have some basic rooms with benches and some old boards. We don't really have a lot of staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. Usually, we start in the early morning and have another session in the evening. The building is a bit old-fashioned, so it stays relatively cool even when it is hot outside. We have some books stacked up in the corner for anyone to use. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. We don't have any fancy computers or projectors. We just use pens and paper for the most part. It’s how we have always done it. People find us through word of mouth mostly. There isn’t a big sign out front, just a small one on the gate. We spend a lot of our time just sitting and going over homework with whoever shows up that day. It is a simple life here.
