Nirbhid Foundation

Nirbhid Foundation is out here in Mhaswad, which is part of the Man Taluka in Satara. If you know Gat No 391, that’s where you’ll find our little setup. We’ve been around this part of Maharashtra for a bit now. It’s mostly rural out here, so things move a bit slower than the big cities, but there is always plenty of work to do. We don’t have a big team of people in suits. It’s just us locals who care about what happens to our town. Some days we are dealing with water issues or helping people with their forms for government stuff. It gets dusty and the roads aren't always great, but we like it here. People know where we are if they need a hand with something. We don't try to act like we know everything. We just do what we can with what we have at the office. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. It's a simple way of living. We’ve got deep roots in Mhaswad. Most of us grew up just a few streets away from where the foundation is now. We decided to start this because we felt like someone should. It’s not about being famous or anything like that. We just wanted to make sure our neighbors have a place to turn when things get a bit messy or confusing in their lives. We are right there at the Mhaswad address if you ever want to stop by.
