Mysore Cement (Heidelberg Cement Group)

We are located in the village of Kashil, which is in the Satara district of Maharashtra. Our site is part of the Heidelberg Cement Group, but out here at the post office of Kashil, it feels like a very local operation. The pin code is 415519 if you are looking for us on a map. It is a rural area, and the cement work is a big part of the life here. Our office is right on the site, so it is often a bit dusty and loud with the trucks moving around. We do not have a fancy corporate suite. We have a practical space where we track the production and handle the local staff. Most of us have been working here for years. We wear sturdy boots and do not worry much about office fashion. The work is hard but it is steady. We see the same faces every day and we have a good rhythm going. Satara is a beautiful place, but we spend most of our time focused on the cement side of things. We do not use big words or have long meetings about missions. We just make sure the cement is moving and the orders are filled. It is a very direct way of doing business. We are proud of the work we do here in Kashil. It is just how we make our living.
