Moraya Soda is located near Station Road, right by the Samarth Mandir. It is a good spot because there are always people walking to or from the train station. I usually open up the shop quite early to catch the first crowd of the day. The shop itself is pretty small, just enough space for the soda machines and a few chairs for people to sit down if they are tired. It gets very humid here, so a cold soda is what most people are looking for. I’ve been at this location for a while. The Samarth Mandir is a well-known landmark, so people never have trouble finding me. I handle everything myself, from mixing the flavors to cleaning the glasses. It is a lot of work, and my hands are usually wet from the ice and water. The floor gets a bit sticky sometimes, but I try to mop it when I have a quiet moment. I don't use any fancy marketing. I just put the board out and wait for people to come in. The noise from the station is always in the background, with the whistles and the announcement speakers going all day. It is a simple life. I enjoy talking to the commuters and the locals who stop by for their daily drink. Sometimes when the trains are delayed, the shop gets really full of people just waiting around. I try to keep the fans going to make it comfortable, but it can get quite stuffy. It’s just a regular soda shop serving the neighborhood and the travelers passing through.
