Modern Clinic

Brahmanshahi is a quiet place for the most part, and our clinic has been part of the landscape here in the Satara district for quite some time now. It’s a simple building that doesn't stand out much from the others. Inside, the rooms are basic with just the essentials. We have a few wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. During the monsoon, the sound of the rain on the roof is so loud you can barely hear yourself talk to the patients. We see people from all over the area, some who travel quite a bit to get here. It’s a local place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We spend our mornings checking the supplies and making sure everything is ready for the day. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just some old calendars on the wall and a few plants. The windows look out onto the street, and we can see the weather changing throughout the day. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know which patients like to talk and which ones just want to get their medicine and go home. It’s a slow pace of life here compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We just do our work and try to be helpful to the people who live around Brahmanshahi. It’s what we’ve always done.
