Mann Deshi Champions Foundation

Our foundation, the Mann Deshi Champions Foundation, is based out in Mhaswad. We are at K-371, which is in the Man Taluka of Satara. It’s a rural area, and things move a bit slower here than in the big cities. We started this because there are so many kids here who are good at sports but don't have much else. We aren't a big academy with fancy tracks or expensive gyms. Mostly, we just use the local ground and whatever equipment we can get our hands on. It’s a lot of hard work in the sun. The kids from around Mhaswad and Satara come here early in the morning. We spend a lot of time just organizing practice and trying to find shoes or gear for them. Our office is just a simple building in the village where we keep the records and the few trophies we’ve won. It’s dusty and hot for most of the year, but the energy is high. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and the local families trying to give these kids a chance to run or play. Sometimes we have to travel long distances for competitions, which is always a bit of a struggle to coordinate. But we stay at K-371 and keep things running as best as we can. It is just basic, honest work for the local community. We enjoy seeing the progress they make.
