Out here in Banwadi, near Karad, things move at a slightly different pace than the big cities. We have our office at A/P 525/3A, which is easy enough to find if you are familiar with the Satara district. Mane Exporrts is basically just a group of us trying to handle the daily grind of moving goods around. It is not always easy being tucked away in this part of the country, but we like it. The air is a bit cleaner here than in Mumbai, though the summer sun is no joke. Most mornings start with a quick check of the paperwork and then seeing what needs to be loaded or sent off. We don't have any big glass walls or shiny reception desks. It is more like wooden tables, old fans, and the sound of people talking over their phones. Sometimes the internet acts up, or a delivery gets stuck somewhere on the highway, but we just deal with it as it comes. We have been in this spot for some time now and most of the locals know where we are. It’s a practical workspace, nothing more. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks as long as the work gets sorted. Satara is a good place to be based, even if it means we are a bit far from the main shipping ports. We just keep things steady and keep moving.
