Madhawa Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Borwand. It’s basically run from Shri Mahesh Madhavrao Phad’s place. It’s a quiet spot, not like the big cities. Most of us here are busy in the fields for most of the day, so the office work usually happens in the evenings or whenever there's a break from the sun. We started this because doing everything alone as a single farmer is just too much. By coming together under this name, we can handle the seeds and the selling a bit better. There aren’t many people here, just a small group of us looking out for each other. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, so things take longer than they should, but that’s just how it is in our part of the world. We don’t have a fancy website or glossy brochures. If someone wants to talk, they just come by the house in Borwand. We mostly talk about the crops and who needs what for the next season. It’s pretty simple. We don’t try to act like a big corporation because we aren’t one. We’re just local people from the village trying to make the farming life a little bit more manageable for everyone involved in the group. We just keep our heads down and get the daily tasks done as best as we can manage for now. It works for us.
