Krishna Hospital & University

Over here at A1/2 Koyana Vasahat, we are right near the Urban Bazar in Malkapur Karad. Having both the hospital and the university side means there are always a lot of young people around, learning the ropes and helping out. The area is quite lively because of the bazaar, so there’s always a place to grab a snack or run an errand nearby. The building is large and spread out, with different wings for the students and the patients. It can be a bit confusing to navigate if you’re here for the first time, but there are usually enough people around to point you in the right direction. We have some open spaces between the buildings where people can sit outside when the weather is nice. The labs are usually humming with activity, and you’ll often see students in their white coats huddled over books in the canteen. It’s a place of constant movement. We’ve been part of the Karad community for a long time, and the connection to the university makes the atmosphere feel different than a regular clinic. It’s more academic, I suppose, but at the end of the day, it’s still about the people who come in for care. The floors are a bit scuffed from all the foot traffic, and the bulletin boards are covered in old notices and schedules. It’s just how things are here in Koyana Vasahat.
