Kalapremi Photo Studio

Our studio is at 1061 in the Branmanshahi area of Wai Wai, right at Shop No -1. It’s pretty easy to find if you know where the Government Hospital is, we’re just near that. People have been coming to us for years for all sorts of photos. The shop itself is small, but we have enough room for the lights and the backdrops we use. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, but we make do. We’ve got a lot of old cameras and frames sitting around from when we first started. It’s a busy little street, so there’s always someone walking by or popping in to ask a quick question about a print. We don’t have a big fancy office, just the workspace where we edit and the front area for customers. Most of the folks who live around Wai Wai know us because we’ve been here for so long. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the paper and ink cartridges, but that’s part of the job. We try to keep the wait times down, but on market days it can get pretty backed up. It's just a regular local studio where we take care of whatever comes through the door. We usually have some tea going in the back if it's a slow morning and we're just waiting for the first customer to walk in.
