Joshi & Jampala

Joshi & Jampala is based in Karandwadi, near Degaon in Satara. It's a small place. We work out of a building that's been around for a while. Usually, you’ll find us sitting around the main table talking about the projects we have going on. Satara is a nice place to work, not too crowded. We know the neighbors. Some days are busy, others are a bit slower. We don't have a big reception area or anything. Just the office and some storage space. Most of the time, we are out on the field anyway. When we are here, we handle the phone calls and the mail. It gets a bit dusty in the summer months. We try to keep things organized but sometimes papers pile up. That's just how it goes when you're busy with the actual work. Joshi handles one side of things and Jampala looks after the rest. It’s a partnership that’s worked for us for some time now. We don't spend money on fancy signs. People find us by word of mouth mostly. If you’re looking for us, just ask around in Karandwadi and someone will point you to the right door. It’s simple. We just do our jobs and then go home to our families. Not much else to tell really. Sometimes we get tea from the tapri around the corner when the afternoons get long. We have a small window that looks out onto the main road. We see the trucks pass by all day long. It's just a regular life for us.
