Gurukrupa Masale Udyog

Our spice unit, Gurukrupa Masale Udyog, is located at Plot No- M-40 in the Additional M.I.D.C. area of Satara. We are right next to the Radhe Krishna Cold Storage. If you are anywhere nearby, you can probably tell what we do by the smell of the chili and turmeric in the air. We spend our days grinding and mixing different kinds of masalas for people to use. It is a very hands-on job. We have a few machines that do the heavy work, but we still have to check everything by hand. The floors are usually covered in a fine dust from the spices, and we all go home smelling like a kitchen at the end of the day. We are a small team and we do everything from cleaning the raw spices to packing the finished bags. It is a busy place, especially during the harvest seasons when a lot of fresh stock comes in. We do not have an office staff; even the owners are usually out there on the floor helping out. The industrial area is full of different factories, but we think ours is the most interesting because of the spices. We do not do any big advertising or have a shiny storefront to show off. Our customers are mostly local shops and people who know the quality of our blends. We just focus on getting the flavors right for the local cooking.
