Erram Hospital

If you know Karad, you probably know where the bus stand is. We are right there on Bus Stand Road, near Krushna Naka in Mangalwar Peth. It’s a very busy part of town. People are always arriving or leaving on the buses, so there’s constant noise and movement outside our windows. Inside the hospital, we try to keep things a bit more orderly, but it’s still a lively place. We get people coming in from the surrounding villages because of our location near the transport hub. It’s easy for them to get here. We’ve been in Mangalwar Peth for quite some time now. The building is older, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or art. It’s mostly just white walls and tile floors that we spend a lot of time cleaning. We aren't a big city hospital with thousands of beds. We’re just a local place. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know a lot of the families who come in. It’s a lot of work, especially when the bus station gets really crowded in the evenings. We just take things one patient at a time. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just open the doors and do what needs doing every morning. It’s honest work. Sometimes we stay late when things get hectic. That’s just the way it goes when you’re right by the main bus area in Karad.
