Divyaroop Foods Llp is based out of the cotton ginning society premises in Asu, which is near Phaltan. Being part of the Shri Kaleshwar Co-Op setup means there is always a lot of noise and activity around us. We deal with food products in a place that’s mostly known for cotton processing. It’s a bit of an unusual spot but it works fine for what we need. Satara can get incredibly hot in the summers, which makes working in the processing area a real chore sometimes. We don't have a big corporate team at all. It’s just us trying to make a go of it in the local market. The address is a bit of a mouthful to give to delivery drivers, so we usually just tell them to look for the big ginning gates near the society office. We spend our days looking over batches and talking to the local farmers who come by to drop things off. Life moves at a much slower pace here in Phaltan compared to the big cities. We don't have any fancy brochures or a PR person to talk for us. If you come by to visit, you’ll probably find us wearing dusty clothes and drinking cold water from a clay pot. We focus on getting the food packed and sent out without making too much of a fuss about it. It's a simple life. Some days the machinery acts up and we have to fix it ourselves with whatever tools are handy.
