Delstar Pvt Ltd. is based in Ogalewadi. It is a small place and most people here know who we are without needing a map or directions. We have been part of the landscape for a long time. The factory floor is where everything happens for us. It has that old-school industrial feel to it. We make parts and handle manufacturing tasks that require a lot of attention. You cannot rush this kind of work or you just end up starting over again. The machines are old but they work better than the new stuff sometimes because we know all their quirks. We have a small office attached to the main shed where the paperwork gets filed away in metal cabinets. It is usually a bit cooler in there during the afternoon. Our workers come from the surrounding villages nearby. Some have been here since they were young men just starting out. We do not have big meetings or long strategy sessions. We just look at what needs to be built today and we get to building it. When the whistle blows for lunch everyone finds a spot in the shade to eat. It is a quiet life in Ogalewadi away from the big city noise and we prefer it that way. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work correctly and go home.
