If you’re ever near the IDBI Bank in Karad, you’ll probably see our spot at 148/A. We call it Coffee Corner because that’s basically what it is, a small place on the corner where people stop by. It’s not a big fancy establishment. We have a few chairs and the counter where we make the drinks. Being right by the bank means we get a lot of people coming in after they finish their errands. It gets pretty busy around lunchtime when the offices nearby empty out. The shop has been here for a while, and we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. Karad is a nice town, and this little corner of it feels like home to us. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us working the shifts. Sometimes the milk delivery is late or the weather is too hot, but we manage to stay open. We spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure things are ready for the morning rush. There’s always someone popping in for a quick chat while they wait. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a bit cramped when it rains and everyone tries to crowd inside, but it makes for good conversation. We just keep doing what we do every day. The sink leaks a little bit sometimes, but we put a bucket under it and it's fine.
