Our factory is located at Gat No 2032 in Village Palshi, which is part of the Khandala taluka. It’s a bit away from the main highway. CHHEDA ELECTRICALS AND ELECTRONICS PVT LTD has been here for a good number of years. We work with all sorts of electrical components and boards. It’s quiet out here compared to the city, but inside the building, it’s always busy. We have rows of benches where people sit and assemble different parts. Most of our staff comes from the local villages nearby. We spent a lot of time showing everyone how to handle the delicate wires and soldering irons. It’s a practical environment. We don't have a fancy canteen or a lounge. We just have a small area where we eat our lunch and have a bit of a chat. Sometimes the mountain weather makes things a bit damp, so we have to be careful with the electronic parts. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules. We just have a way of doing things that works for us. The walls are a bit stained and the floor has some scuffs, but the equipment we use is kept in good shape. We aren't trying to be famous. We just want to make sure the electrical parts we send out are reliable and safe for whoever uses them. That is why we stay focused on the benches.
