Anushree Kirana Store

Anushree Kirana Store sits on Bau Dand Road in Sant Yashwant Nagar, which is over in Jila Satara. We are quite close to Jagtap Hospital, so we get a lot of people stopping by who are visiting folks there or just live in the neighborhood. It’s a standard kirana shop. We have the usual jars of sweets on the counter and stacks of household supplies. The shelves are mostly filled with cooking oil, flour, and spices. It gets a bit narrow in the aisles when more than two people are shopping at once. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and ordering things that run out fast, like milk or bread. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local place where you can get what you need without much fuss. The floor is concrete and we have a small desk where we keep the ledger. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the delivery truck arrives and we have to haul sacks inside through the front door. We try to keep things organized but it’s a lot of work for a small team. People come in for a chat as much as for their groceries. We’ve seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up over the years. If you are around Sant Yashwant Nagar, you’ll see our sign. We are open most days, usually opening up early before the heat gets too bad.
