Amuj Foods

Amuj Foods is based out in the village of Umbraj, specifically in the Kalagaon area. Being in Taluka Karad gives us a bit of a slower pace compared to the big cities, which we quite like. We are right there at the post, so it’s a central spot for the locals. Most of our work happens in a plain building that doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, it's a different story with people busy handling food items. We don't have any polished floors or glass walls. It’s more about concrete and metal tables. We focus on the daily tasks of processing and packing. The air around here feels different, more open. We know many of the people who pass by. Our team is mostly folks from around the area who have been with us for a while. We don't really follow a corporate handbook. If something needs fixing, we just fix it ourselves. The days start early here, often before the sun is fully up. We like the quiet of the morning to get things organized. By afternoon, it gets a bit more hectic with deliveries and people moving stuff around. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don’t overthink things or try to be something we aren’t. We’re just Amuj Foods, doing our thing in Umbraj day in and day out.
