You can find us at Shop Number 4 in the Jadhav Complex, which is right near Krishna Hospital here in Malakapur. Being located in Karad, we get a lot of people coming by who are visiting the hospital or just living nearby in the neighborhood. We mostly spend our time in the back of the shop working on different types of bread and sweets. It is a pretty small space, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a big order to finish or when the morning delivery arrives. We started Aditya Bakery because we wanted a place where we could just make good food without too much fuss. There is always a smell of flour and sugar in the air, which I guess is normal for a confectionery. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just see our sign when they are walking past the complex and stop in to see what we have in the cases that day. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected, especially the popular stuff, but that’s just how it goes when you’re baking in small batches. The staff here is just a few of us who know how to handle the ovens and talk to the customers. We don't have any fancy corporate speeches. We just show up, bake the goods, and keep the shop clean. It's a lot of standing on your feet all day, but it feels good.
