Aarambha Education Foundation

If you are ever in Satara, you might find us at the Aarambha Education Foundation. We are located at Goh50 in Gokhali Gawthan. It is a quiet spot compared to the bigger cities, and we like that pace. Our team consists of just a few local people who want to help out with education in our town. We don’t have a glossy office or modern furniture. Everything we use is functional and mostly second-hand. We spend a lot of our time visiting schools in the area or sitting in the office trying to get our records straight. The work can be a bit slow because of all the paperwork involved, but we keep at it. People in Satara know where we are if they need help with school resources. It is very hands-on and direct. We aren't looking to become some huge national organization. We just want to do a good job for the families in our community. The name Aarambha means a beginning, and that is what we try to give the kids who come to us. The office can get a bit dusty and we often have too many files on one desk, but we are real people doing real work. That is pretty much the way we run things here in Satara.
