Shailendra Traders

Our place, Shailendra Traders, is located on Gandhi Path, not too far from where Kera Marg starts. It is a decent spot, though the road can get a bit muddy when the rains come through. We deal in general trading, which means our inventory changes depending on what is available and what people are asking for at the time. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack things up. It's just a regular building with a heavy door and some simple signs. We don't go in for big promotions or flashy signs. Mostly, it's just about being there when someone needs a particular item for their farm or house. We've spent many years on Gandhi Path and have seen many shops come and go, but we have managed to stick around by just being practical. The mornings are usually spent unloading trucks or talking to the guys who bring in the goods. It’s not a glamorous job, and there is a lot of paperwork that nobody really enjoys doing. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that; everything happens right here behind the wooden desk. Sometimes the power is out and we work by the light coming in from the street. It’s a quiet existence for the most part, just serving the local community and making sure the business stays steady year after year.
