Janki Broker

Janki Broker is located right in Sahu Market on Gt Road in Rohtas. It’s easy to find us because we are directly opposite Anandi Cinema. When there’s a new movie playing, the whole area gets really loud and packed with cars and bikes. We’ve been working out of this small space for years. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street looking for help with deals. Being on Gt Road means there is constant traffic and dust, but it’s where all the action is. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a desk, a few chairs, and a lot of paperwork. Dealing with people is what we do every single day. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the crowd across at the cinema. Other days, we barely have time to drink tea because so many people are asking about prices or listings. We know the Rohtas area pretty well by now. Everyone in Sahu Market knows each other, so it’s a friendly enough place to work. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a way for people to get their business sorted out without too much fuss. It gets a bit noisy in the evenings, but that’s just the way it is here. We keep the doors open and wait for the next person to come by. It’s a simple way to make a living.
