Gems Hospital

Gems Hospital is out here in Sikaria. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. We opened up this place because there weren’t many options around here. The building is simple, nothing to brag about. We spend our days seeing people from the village and surrounding spots. Some walk a long way to get here. We have a few beds and the basic stuff you’d expect in a local hospital. It gets dusty sometimes because of the roads in Sikaria, but we try to keep the inside tidy. The staff is mostly local people. We know the families who come in. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the waiting area, so people stand around outside. It’s not a fancy city hospital with glass walls. It’s just a brick building where we work. We handle fevers, injuries, and the usual stuff. Sometimes we have to send people to the bigger city if it's something we can't manage. Life moves a bit slower here. We don't have a website or any of that, just the sign out front. If you ask anyone in Sikaria where the hospital is, they’ll point you our way. We’re just here doing what needs doing every day. It’s honest work. The power goes out once in a while, but we have a generator for that. We just keep going until the last patient is seen and the lights go off.
