Geetanjali Marble & Granite

We’ve been at this spot in Punia for a good while now. Being right on Old City Road makes it easy for people to find us, especially since everyone knows where the Hero Agency is just down the way. It’s a bit of a dusty life working with marble and granite all day. We spend most of our mornings moving heavy slabs around and making sure things aren't chipped or cracked before they go out. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, especially when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but that’s just how it goes in this business. My hands are usually covered in stone dust by lunch and the noise of the saws is something you just learn to live with. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just us here at Geetanjali Marble & Granite working out of the yard day in and day out. People come by looking for something for their floors or maybe a new kitchen top they've been saving for. We show them what we have in stock and tell them how it wears over time. It isn't complicated. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a lot of building going on nearby. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready. It’s loud sometimes because of the trucks, but you get used to it. We just focus on getting the stone cut and loaded up.
