Techwagon Foundation

If you go to Village Saketri and look near the Police Chowki, you’ll find House Number 23A where Techwagon Foundation is based. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, which is nice for the kind of work we do. Even though our name sounds a bit technical, we are really just a group of people interested in how technology can help our local community. We aren't a big tech firm in a city skyscraper. We are right here in the village, working out of a regular house. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and we have to wait, but that’s just part of life here. We spend our time showing people how to use different tools or helping kids understand computers a bit better. It’s not always organized perfectly. Sometimes the living room is full of cables and old monitors, and other times we are just sitting around talking about new ideas. We like being close to the Police Chowki because it’s a central point in Saketri that everyone knows. People often wander in just to see what we are up to. We try to explain things in simple terms because not everyone is a tech expert. We’re just learning together and trying to bring some new skills to our village. It’s been a good journey so far, and we’re happy to be here. We just take things one day at a time and see what needs fixing.
