Our office is actually inside a flat, number 35A at SBP Homes in Chajju Majra, Sector 126. It is a residential area in Mohali, so the whole place feels more like a home than a stiff, formal office. We do work related to overseas applications and sorting out documents. Usually, the main table is covered in files, folders, and passport copies. It is just a small team of us working here. We decided to work out of this flat because it is easier to manage and it keeps the costs down for everyone involved. You have to go through the main gate of the housing complex to find us. Sometimes the security guards ask a lot of questions before letting people in. It is a bit of a trek if you do not have your own car, but the location is very quiet once you get inside. We spend hours on the phone or typing away at the computers every single day. There is always a kettle going in the kitchen for tea or coffee. We do not have any fancy signs or a big lobby with a receptionist. It is just a living room that we turned into a workspace. People usually come by because a friend told them about us. We talk to people about their plans and try to figure out a path that makes sense. It is not a high-pressure environment. We just sit down and go through things one by one.
