Shahi Social Welfare Association is down at Shop Number 3 on the ground floor of Green View Heights-2. This is in the Bhabat area of Zirakpur, which is part of the Mohali district. Being on the ground floor of an apartment complex means we see a lot of the residents coming and going. It’s a modern building, but our shop is just a basic workspace. We’ve got some desks and a cupboard full of files. There isn't any fancy decor or expensive lighting. We just have the essentials. Zirakpur is growing so fast, and being in Bhabat puts us right where a lot of the change is happening. We chose this spot because it’s easy for people to walk to. We don't have a massive team, just a few local folks who handle the day-to-day tasks. Most of our time is spent talking to people or filling out forms. It’s not very glamorous, and sometimes the office feels a bit small when we have a lot of work piled up. But we prefer it this way. It’s honest and transparent. We don't use big corporate words or have complicated rules. If there is a problem in the neighborhood, we try to see how the association can help. It’s a simple local operation run by people who live right here in Punjab.
