Progline Welfare Foundation

Progline Welfare Foundation is situated in Adarsh Nagar, which is part of Tehsil Derabassi. Our office is specifically at the residence of Chaman Lal, who is the son of Sant Ram. It’s a quiet residential area for the most part, though Derabassi as a whole is growing pretty fast these days. We decided to set up here because it felt more personal than being in a big commercial building. When you walk into Adarsh Nagar, you’ll find us easily enough. The office is just a couple of rooms where we keep our files and meet up to talk about what needs to be done. There isn't any fancy furniture or a reception desk. We usually just sit around a regular table. Sometimes neighbors stop by for a chat, which is nice. We spend a lot of time looking at paperwork and trying to figure out how to help out with local welfare issues. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but being in a neighborhood like this makes it feel like we are part of something real. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few dedicated people who show up every morning. We deal with the usual problems like power cuts or the heat, but the work doesn't stop. It’s a simple operation run by people who live right here in the community.
