Kolkata Music Private Limited

Kolkata Music Private Limited is located at 1018/12 in Chajju Majra Colony. This is over in Sector 4 of Kharar, which falls under Sas Nagar, Mohali. Even though the name says Kolkata, we are very much here in Punjab. The colony is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it, but 140301 is the area code to help find the place. We work on music-related things every day. It’s not always glamorous; there is a lot of file organizing and checking things over and over. The office is pretty simple. We have our gear and a few chairs for when people stop by. Kharar is growing fast, so there’s always construction noise somewhere nearby lately. We just put our headphones on and get to work. It’s a small operation, really. We don’t have a massive studio with gold records on the wall or anything like that. Just a practical space where we can focus on the music. Usually, there’s tea being made at some point in the afternoon. We like the vibe in Mohali, it feels like things are happening here. We don't really follow a strict corporate schedule, we just work until the job is done. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focusing on the sounds we’re putting together. Sometimes we stay late when we're in the middle of a good track.
