You’ll find us right on the Bye Pass along Sirhind Road here in Bassi Pathanan. It’s a spot that gets a fair bit of dust from the heavy traffic passing through, but it’s convenient for getting things in and out. Kamal Engineers has been our life for a long time now. We handle various engineering tasks, mostly stuff people bring in because they need a practical fix. The workshop isn't quiet; there is always something being hammered or a lathe running in the back. We open up early, usually while the mist is still sitting on the road. The floor is concrete and scarred from years of moving heavy equipment around. We aren't big on fancy titles or polished uniforms. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for getting the job done. Customers usually pull up their vehicles right in front, and we step out to see what the trouble is. Sometimes the tea stall guy from down the road brings over a round of cups, and we take five minutes before getting back to the metalwork. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't have a big front office with air conditioning; we just have our tools and the space we need to work. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign near the turn-off. It’s a bit faded from the sun, but it’s still there.
