Kailasha - Serving Humanity Foundation

Our place is House Number A-5 in Wave Estate, over in Sector 85 of Mohali. It’s a newer part of town, so things are still changing around us quite a bit. We’ve been here since the early days of this development. It’s a quiet spot, which is nice when we need to sit down and think. We don't have a big staff or a corporate headquarters. It’s just a few of us working out of the house. We keep things very informal. You won't find anyone in a suit and tie here. We just wear whatever is comfortable and get on with the day’s tasks. People from around the sector know where we are. We don't do much advertising. Mostly, people just hear about us from their neighbors. We try to be helpful whenever someone has a problem we can actually do something about. We aren't trying to be heroes or anything like that. We’re just regular people who think it’s important to give back a little. Sector 85 is still developing, so there's always construction noise nearby. We've gotten used to it over the years. We aren't some big corporation with branches everywhere. This house in Wave Estate is it. We do everything from right here. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to wait for it to come back, but we just use that time to talk. It's a very human way of doing things. We just keep our heads down.
