Farmers Care Global Foundation

Our base is at House No 4034, which is in Ward No 5 of Anand Nagar. It’s essentially a house that we’ve turned into an office space for the Farmers Care Global Foundation. Being at 16A Anand Nagar means we are in a residential area, so it’s much quieter than being downtown. We use the front room as the main workspace. There’s a big wooden table where we do most of our planning and paperwork. Sometimes we sit out on the porch when the weather is nice to talk through things or just have a break. It feels more like a home than a business, which I think people appreciate when they visit us. We have a lot of papers stacked in the corners, mostly related to different projects we are juggling. The kitchen is still used for making lunch and plenty of tea for everyone. We know all the families on this street, and they see us coming and going at all hours. It isn't a place with a glass front or a revolving door. You just walk up to the gate and knock. We don’t have a uniform or any corporate rules about what to wear. We just show up and get to work on whatever is most urgent that day. Sometimes we stay late and the streetlights come on while we’re still typing away at the old computers. It’s a very grounded way to run things. No ego, just plenty of work and the occasional visitor stopping by for a chat.
