Arushi Care Foundation

We are over at 301-B1 in Maya Garden City, right here in Zirakpur. It is just a few of us trying to do some good work from our small office. Most days you will find someone around just sorting through things or talking to the neighbors about what needs doing. We started Arushi Care Foundation because we saw stuff that needed fixing and thought why not just do it ourselves. There is no big office or fancy boardroom here, just a regular space where we sit and plan. Zirakpur is growing fast and there are a lot of people moving in, so things get busy. Sometimes it feels like there is too much to handle but we just take it one day at a time. People stop by quite a bit just to say hello or ask a question. We don't have a big team or anything. It is mostly just local folks who live nearby and want to help. The building is easy to find once you get inside the main gate of Maya Garden. We spend a lot of time just talking to people on the ground. It is honest work and it keeps us busy most of the week. There is always something that needs sorting out, whether it is a small problem or something bigger for the community. We just try to stay useful and keep things moving. It isn't always perfect but we show up every morning and do what we can. We like being part of this community and seeing things get better bit by bit.
