If you walk through the Saha Anaj Mandi and look for Shop No 9, you will find us. We go by Amrik Traders Producer Company Limited. Just like the other shops around here, we are right in the middle of the grain trade. Our shop is a bit smaller than some, but we pack a lot of work into the space we have. There is always someone coming in to ask about prices or to show us a sample of their crop. We spend our days surrounded by sacks of grain and the sound of the market. It’s a gritty kind of job. Your clothes get dusty and you spend a lot of time on your feet. We are a producer company, so our focus is on the people growing the food. We try to make things easier for them when it comes time to sell. The mandi has its own rhythm, and we have been part of it for a while now. We don't bother with fancy reports or corporate lingo. We just talk plain and do our best to keep the business running smooth. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, or the trucks are late, but we just deal with it as it comes.
